Online Bill Payment facility introduced by Delhi Jal Board
The Delhi Jal Board has finally come up with its very own Online Bill Payment facility, which it considers as a sure shot method of reducing footfalls at its various branches all over the capital city, with the primary purpose of helping its teeming customers pay their water bills without any hassle from any part of the world sitting at the convenience of their homes.
Delhi Chief Minister, Sheila Dikshit while inaugurating the portal, applauded the introduction of modern day customer satisfaction techniques like the Online Bill Payment Portal which would also be helpful in solving any kind of customer queries and provide the rightful data in case of any complaints/clarifications.
She also informed that plans are underway to provide the same service via mobile phones too.
Along with the Online Portal, DJB has also come up with around 37 E-Kiosks at their various branches across the Capital with the same objective of helping the DJB customers with their billing problems and queries. The number of virtual payment counters for the Online Payment facility is 512 across all major zones in Delhi.
Advising the people of Delhi to use water resources very wisely, Sheila Dikshit also focused on the fact that people would get a very fair idea of their consumption history and in turn help them plan their expenses properly.
