Biryani around Delhi

Hi all,
I'm surprised the writer has not mentioned that Noor Mohd. Biryani (Turkman Gate) is actually Bade ki Biryani, meaning made of buffalo meat. It's quality has deteriorated. Its plain bad. Smelly uncooked bad buffalo meat with left-over burnt oil. Yuck!

Readers who don't detest eating Buffalo meat may instead try Bade ki Biryani at the following places:

1- Babban Pehalwan Biryani inside Gali Kucha Rehman, Chandni Chowk. From 12 noon onwards till around 2 pm.
2- Sangam biryani run by the sons of famous Kabab maker of old Delhi- Moinuddin. Location Opp: Hamdard Dawakhana, Lal Kuan. From 10:30 am onwards till around 2 pm.
3- Shafeeq Bhai Biryani wala. Punjabi Fatak, Ballimaran.
4- Taufeeq Biryani wala at Haveli Azam Khan, Chitli Qabar, Dariyaganj. Avalaible all day.
5- Raju Biryaniwala. Corner of Gali Thelewali , Bara Hindu Rao. Very authentic Delhi style Biryani cooked with fresh veil meat. 11am onwards till 1 pm.
6- Chaman Biryaniwala. Off. Masjid Bara Hindu Rao. From 12 noon onwards. Is spicier version of Delhi biryani.

Cost of biryani for 1,2,3 is 120 per KG while 4, 5 & 6 is 140 Rupees for a KG of Biryani. For more information and discussion on Delhi street food readers may drop me a line at :
